What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a site stores on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage keys. They can remember a choice (such as cookie consent) or help us understand which pages are read. They are not used here to run payments or lock programme pages behind a wall.
Types we use
Essential. Required for the site to remember your cookie choice and to load header, footer, and forms correctly. These do not track you across other websites. The consent key lives in localStorage under a Logicpacketbase-prefixed name.
Analytics (optional). Used only if you press Accept on the banner. They help us see aggregate traffic to journal posts and programme pages. Rejecting analytics does not block any page, form, or teaching material. You can change your mind by clearing site data for logicpacketbase.digital and reloading; the banner will appear again.

How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on our banner. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, usually under Privacy or Site data. Instructions differ for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge; search your browser’s help for “delete cookies.” Clearing data for this site will forget your banner choice and any optional analytics id.
Most browsers allow “block third-party cookies.” That will affect Google Fonts and Unsplash request cookies. The site remains readable; typefaces may fall back to system fonts if font requests are blocked.
Third-party cookies
We load fonts from Google Fonts and images from Unsplash. Those services may process your IP address and set their own cookies under their privacy policies. We do not control their duration or names beyond what they publish. We do not embed third-party advertising networks. Hybrid session tools used after enrolment (video, Slack) are separate products with their own cookies once you leave this static site.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics or blocking cookies does not hide programmes, the journal, or the contact form. Essential localStorage is how we remember Reject; if you block all storage, the banner may appear on every visit. Fonts and images may load more slowly or not at all if third-party requests are blocked. Teaching quality on the website is not reduced; only our ability to see aggregate readership is.
